MAWC Needs Cleaned Up! As my career is ending as a public servant at MAWC for 35 years, I am running for county commissioner to clean things up at these very independent authorities. I can’t agree on paying 2 guys $1.75 Million a year to run the authority. RDM has been passed onto the founders’ kids who are running it now. We NEVER NEEDED a management firm. There are 100’s of professionals in the Water/Wastewater Industry across the nation that we could hire to run YOUR water company in a more professional manner. Could you image paying a Superintendent of Schools in ANY school district in Westmoreland County a million dollars a year???? Outrageous!!! MAWC Needs Cleaned Up! Very sad day for me as my career is ending as a public servant at MAWC. This is a clip from the Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County's public Board Meeting on March 19, 2022. I was threatened to be fired by former Democratic County Commissioner Tom Ceraso for attending the previous board meeting. Attorney David Colecchia from LawCare.pro formally submitted a compliant regarding this hostility to my candidacy for County Commissioner. The formal complaint is on this website under documents, A02 MAWC – Paul Kosko Complaint. None of this was reported by Tribune Reporter Rich Cholodofsky from the Tribune Review who I was sitting right next to. His story apparently was something given to him in a side room at MAWC after the meeting.
